Founder Mel McDaniel opened Home on Main in the fall of 2022 but the idea for this unique up-cycled home store started several years ago as a companion shop to Marvin’s Home, a non-profit that creates homes for young adults who have been homeless or have aged out of the foster care system. The concept is simple, gently pre-owned items, and one of a kind vintage pieces are carefully curated and sold. One hundred percent of the profits from Home on Main directly fund all of Marvin’s Home activities.
